Where Would You Spend $5000 On Your Business?

By

Okay, now let’s pretend that you have a lot of money.

And with a portion of that money, you get to spend any way you’d like on your Internet or home business.

Let’s say that amount is $5000. Woo hoo!

Now… with $5000 here’s what I would do with it. I could spend it on:

Education – Learn even more about Internet marketing. This includes IM books, self-help books, copywriting books, and attending professional seminars. Going to lots of seminars will allow me to rub shoulders with the movers and shakers, and maybe work out some beneficial deals.

Mentor/coach – Have someone tell me what to do, step by step, to take my online business to an insanely successful level. This could get me from point A to point B a lot faster.

Outsourcing – Hire out the content writing, backlinking, article marketing, and blog set up and posting. Ooooh, a ghostwriter can even create a new product for me. This would leave me time to work ON my business rather than IN my business. I’m talking major outsourcing here.

Hire an assistant – I will get someone who does everything I don’t have the time or desire to do. I couldn’t pay them forever on the $5000, but I would actually be able to make a lot more money if two people are working my business instead of just one (me).

Here’s how I could see me laying out the $5000:

* I buy books and courses anyway, so I would continue to do that from my regular budget.

* I would attend at least one seminar or workshop, and make sure I connect with people.

* Then I would spend the rest on a mentor/coach. I think it’s really important to figure out the best way for me to take my business up a few rungs before I worry about doing major outsourcing.

What about you? If you have $5000 right now, how would you spend it and bring your business to the next level?

If I had $5000 to invest in my internet business today, here is what I would do with it:

    1. Find a great graphic artist that I could put on retainer. I have about 50 projects at any given time that require their expertise.

    2. Outsource my traffic generation to free my time up for product creation and development of cutting edge training packages.

    3. Find a small studio that I could rent to put together some high quality videos and audios as part of my product creations.

    4. Find the coach or coaching program that is best suited for me, and get some guidance from an expert to get to the next level and beyond. Someone who can show me EXACTLY how to run a successful solo-entrepreneurial business on the internet.

Once I leveraged that $5000 into a steady and dependable 10,000 to 15,000 per month net income, I would be able to quit my JOB (which continues to take up way too much of my time and energy!)

    That’s what I’d do…

Great question Jaz. I can answer that with one word – advertise. I’d do some basic keyword research and set up a series of media-buys using targeted text ads for a best selling Clickbank product, starting small to test the ad and scaling up as sales improve. Turning an “IF” into an “IS” is another matter. 😉 Steve

Assuming I have already invested more that amount to get not only a start, but a turbo kick-start via courses and coaches, ebooks and books, and did hands-on to experience the processes involved in IM, and I have not yet get a returns on my ROI, and now I have the $5000, what should I do with it?
    (1) I will begin the outsourcing of the continuous and tedious work which will take a chunk of the amount.
    (2) continue to look for and try out good products and softwares to automate more processes, or create innovative products
    (3) allocate at least 25% for continous learning and R&D for business models, strategies and ideas via books, ebooks, courses, coaches, networking, online and offline forums and discussions to go deep and wide in IM.
At the end of the day, I’d like to be an owner of a sustainable online business on clockwork which will then allow me to focus on the processes which I am best at and love which is content creation. $5000 can indeed go a long way if it is used right. And all sales and profits should be plow back into the fund for refinement and expansion.

Assuming I had $5000.00 to start I.B. I would learn from a Mentor. So as to speed up the stable earnings.
    1) Would have a life long learning
    2) Innovate any technique that is new, as every year there will be new technological break through in field of software and hardware.
    3) Earn as I learn to get through I.B.
    4) At the same time have discipline to learn from E-book. as I get along.

$5000 I think can do a lot things..
I am thinking use the money to generate more email subscribers like:
    1. Buy Solo ads
    2. Google adsense, facebook ads to my squeeze page
    3. Hire freelancer to write tons of articles for article marketing
    4. Hire experience freelancer to create my own internet products
    5. Buy relevant great tools or software to boost online business
    6. Hire some fulltime freelancer to help me maintain the business

I think is worth to spend on these proven strategies which have a good ROI.

Looks like most people will get a mentor/ coach to guide him/her along.

    The same goes to me.

In fact, early last year, I paid a mentor to guide me along and my earning have increase tremendously.

Last month, I just paid an expect $5000 to teach me how to drive massive amount of traffic to my website and the results are coming in fast.

So with the right mentor, you can go much much further than reading and learning on your own.

Every year, I look forward to paying an expert a huge sum of money teach me how to win in a certain online method and the results I get are pretty enormous.
