Yes! Finally, I am back from my 2 weeks honeymoon and I just can’t wait to share with you the adventures I had in USA!

It was surprisingly fun in USA and quite frankly, I didn’t really expect it to be this way.

I always have a fear of traveling too far away as I hate jetlag.

The furthest flight I have taken, was to London, which was many years ago.

The 14 hours flight was horrible and I needed 2 days of sleep to over come the jetlag.

And since then, I have never taken a flight of more than 7 hours until my honeymoon.

But when my wife told me that she wanted to go to the US for our honeymoon, I almost ‘flipped out’.

But after much hesitation, I gave in to her but on one condition.

The condition is that we’ll have to take the “Business Class”… so that I can rest better to fight the jetlag (Since it’s a 20+ hours flight, I fear that it may be worst than going to London).

So we checked in on the 30th April.

And I slept almost through out the whole flight.

When I landed in New York, I felt fine (all thanks to the 10+ hours of sleep that I had).

We checked into the really cool psychedelic hotel in Times Square.

And we spent most of our time visiting the major attraction with a little bit of shopping.

This is my first shot of NYC.

One of the main attractions that I like is the Madam Tussauds.

We don’t have that in Singapore and it’s kind of fun taking photos with all the well know figures.

In fact we took so many pictures that I have specially created a video montage for this.

Here’s the rest of our activities in NYC.

And of course not forgetting the highlight which is the Statue of Liberty.

After spending 4 nights in NYC, we took a 4 hours bus ride to Washington DC to catch up with my buddy Daegan Smith in one of his private workshop.

Picked up a couple of really cool ninja strategies to increase my sales. Will be implementing them over the next few weeks. Let’s see how it goes.

After the workshop, we hopped onto the double decker tour bus and took a day off to sight see.

We visited quite a number of monuments and we took alot of photos.

We went to the White house, Arlington National Cemetery, Jefferson Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Lafayette Square, National World War II Memorial, The Pentagon, Vietnam Veterans Memorial and my favourite Lincoln Memorial (Why is he my favourite… maybe it’s because he is featured in some of my favourite movies like Night In The Museum and Transformers)

Here’s the rest of the photos in Washington DC.

After 3 days in DC, we took a 7 hours flight to LAS VEGAS!

Now this is the fun part.

There are simply too many things to do in Vegas. So many casinos to see, so many places to shop and so many shows to catch.

I just hope that we have more time in Vegas.

We stayed in a hotel call “Treasure Island”. The hotel was pretty okay and it was close to all the main hotel attractions.

The first thing we did was to check out the Premium Outlets there.

We spent a bomb there and in just one day, our total damage was $3000.

We brought so many things that we have to buy a new luggage just to fit all the new purchases in.

Beside the shopping, we also catch 2 shows.

One is the Blue Man Group.

And the other one is the world famous David Copperfield.

I enjoyed David Copperfield performances alot as I didn’t expect him to be so active with the audiences.

He was getting everyone involved in the performances and you can see that all the audiences love it.

And by the way, here’s my favourite shop : Affliction

I love their clothes and we brought 16 items from them.

I just can’t shop enough and I literally had to tell myself to STOP!

Vegas is definitely a place that I will go back for it’s shopping and shows.

I am not really into gambling but I love the shows and performances in the casino.

I would want to be back soon.

Here’s the rest of the fun photos in Vegas.

After Vegas, we rented a car and took a 4 hours drive to Los Angelas, Santa Monica.

It was pretty exciting and scary as this is my first time driving a left hand drive car.

The drive was pretty smooth and easy to LA.

When we are in LA, the first time we did was to visited Hollywood, Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills.

It was quite interesting to see how Hollywood is like.

The next day, we went to Universal Studio Hollywood and we had a lot of fun there.

Luckily their Universal Studio is different from our Singapore version.

I get to see a lot more stuffs that I can’t see in Singapore.

I visited 80% of the attractions and my favourite is the Universal Tour where they bring you around the studios and show you how movies are made.

It was excited and they even try to mimic the movies.

Here’s a scene from the movie ‘Jaws’.

And here’s some of the highlights from our Universal Studio adventures.

Overall… after visiting 4 states (New York, Washington, Las Vegas and Los Angelas), my overall favourite place is Los Angelas, Santa Monica.

It is the combination of the activities in New York and the calmness of Washington.

I totally love this place and our hotel is directly opposite the beach (which add in the cool factor).

Looks like I am going to head back to the US sooner than I expected.

We took an all Business class flight home and we slept throughout the flight.

When I finally arrived home and I login to my Paypal. I saw this amount of commissions waiting for me to withdraw.

Ahhhhh!!!!!!

Life is good!

I’ve to warn you… my first post of the year is going to be quite a long one.

If you stay to read on, you’ll understand why I’m so excited to share my happiness with you.

And I assure you that there’s lots of valuable tips packed in this blogpost.

So, as you probably know… it’s been a week since my wedding banquet.

But somehow, it feels as though everything just happened yesterday.

I still get excited every time I think about it before going to bed.

It certainly was a wedding like no other.

All the guest were seated at their table in the ballroom anticipating the arrival of the bride and groom.

But everyone soon became bewildered when the banquet commenced with a rather odd message that appeared on the projector screen.

It read, “We are sorry to announce that the wedding banquet is cancelled because the Bride and Groom have met with some unforeseen circumstances and are not able to make it on time. However, the banquet will still carry on and we would like you to watch a short video clip of the wedding ceremony that managed to take place earlier today… We hope you enjoy your dinner.”

Then, a scene of what seemed to be the usual oriental wedding customary practice took over the big screen.

My band of brothers (best-men) and I, went over to my in-laws’ to receive my bride.

Everything resembled the usual wedding video that you see in most banquets until a series of unfortunate events unfolded before the audiences’ eyes.

My bride was kidnapped and I was held captive by some weapon wielding hooligans who knocked me unconscious.

There were mixed reactions in the crowd. Some people became worried, a few others seemed to be spell-bound by the screen not knowing how to react.

It was a video, that no one expected to watch at a banquet.

Somehow I managed to escape and I successfully knocked down five baddies single-handedly in the video.

I even sent a guy flying 2 storeys high with an uppercut punch!

Everyone was eventually relieved when they realized they were actually watching a movie all along!

The movie ended with me rescuing my bride as we made our way to the wedding banquet with a stolen car.

Then, accompanied with a timely romantic song, the lights came on in the ballroom as shimmering confetti’s were being popped all around the room.

Everyone began cheering wildly when we entered the ballroom arm in arm.

It was a grand entrance.

Everyone was having lots of fun throughout the banquet.

It was definitely a night to remember.

Friends and relatives came up to us telling us that this was by far the best wedding banquet they have ever attended.

Atlas, our 6 months of intensive planning and hard work have finally paid off.

We have made our wedding day memorable not only for us, but for our friends and relatives as well.

You might have realized, most wedding banquets are pretty standard.

It usually begins with a short video montage of the newly wed’s childhood and wedding photos.

Then the newly weds will make an grand entrance before being invited on stage to make a toast.

While food are being served, both the bride and groom will walk to every table in the ballroom to take group photos with the guests.

Then the banquet ends subtly without a note as guests bid the family farewell after they finish the last dish of the night.

And we didn’t want ours to be “just another wedding”.

We wanted our guests to leave happily with a positive and lasting impression.

Instead, we took the usual wedding banquet “template” (for a lack of a better description)… personalize it and made it our own.

That’s how our wedding stood out from the rest.

And I found that taking something that’s been proven to work and adding your own personal touch to it can bring you even greater results.

This also applies to your internet business.

In fact, one of the things that I pride myself on in my internet business, is my ability to effectively sell through emails.

I could easily rake in between $2000-$10,000 in 24 hours just by sending an email to my subscribers.

But of course, l started out with using proven email formulas taught by various internet gurus.

I experimented with quite a lot of different types of emails. Some worked, so didn’t.

Some of the email formulas that have worked very well for me over the years includes:

- Hypey but very short emails that creates lot of curiosity.
- Content emails that gives away 1 or 2 tips that my subscribers can apply and see results.
- Giving fair and honest opinions about a product that I have used or have used
by others. (soft-selling)

But what really made the huge difference in my income over the years, is the way I personalized my emails that my subscribers can relate to.

I decided to add in a personal touch to my emails. I wrote my emails to them as if I’m writing a letter to a very close friend.

I’ll also tell them about what I’m doing… share stories about my travels and personal experiences and I’ll even add a picture to the email.

Recently, I sent a couple of emails to my subscribers about how I would like to celebrate my wedding with them by giving them a special gift.

I was going to invite my long-time friend and mentor, Daegan Smith to come down to Asia to give a 2-day live training (By the way, all the seats are sold out)

I learnt many useful strategies from Daegan that made a whole lot of difference to my business and I wanted my subscribers to be able to learn from him as well.

There were only 50 seats available for this training and majority of it were taken up when I sent out a “post wedding” email that described the amount of fun my subscribers could be in for if they were present at my wedding.

Amazing, isn’t it.

There’s not really a whole lot of science into it… just that most people tend to forget that an internet business is a business about people.

NOT the internet… and most certainly… NOT the computer.

When a customer hands you his money and buys your product, it is his way of saying,

“I like you and I trust you”.

With all the competiton on the internet that’s selling similar products, the only way to dominate the market is to set yourself apart from the rest.

Just like how…

Sony dominates the electronics market.
Apple dominates smart phones
Mac Donald’s dominates the fast-food industry… etc.

Ask yourself, how can you be different?

Instead of re-inventing the wheel, how can you improve the way of doing things?

When I first learnt about how to build an internet business, I found that many internet gurus give really great tips.

But most of them don’t provide with very good hands on support. The most I got when I needed help was their email.

Unfortunately, not many of them are on the ball with their email support which could take days or a week to answer my question.

The most frustrating part about it is that when they do get back to me, I couldn’t understand their written instructions.

I mean c’mon… I was a complete newbie then.

To me, giving great support to my students is a huge thing.

I didn’t want my students to struggle with “figuring things out” like I did.

So I have a team of well-trained coaches that my students can communicate with.

Whenever they need help, they can talk to one of my coaches over the phone to solve the problem.

If things still doesn’t work out, we allow them to make an appointment to drop by the office at no charge!

Till today, I still have students coming back to me saying that I provide the best customer support.

And because of this, their friends want to take up my course too.

Again, that’s what I did… I found a proven solution (for this case, providing customer support) and I improve it by personalizing it (giving more personal and intimate help to the customers).

You’ll soon realize that you can also apply this formula to other areas of your life including your internet business.

So remember, the next time you want to do anything successful…

Find a proven solution and add your personal touch to it and you’ll be amazed by the results.

With that, me and my wife would like you to wish you a fulfilling “Dragon” year that is filled with Love and Wealth!

Over the past few days, things had really been hectic… with the wedding banquet that’s coming up in January and among other things . It’s really challenging but definitely worth it.

Luckily, I’ve managed to find some time for myself and finally get to relax on my favorite chair…

And guess who I thought of?

You! – My readers.

Just before I get interrupted again with something just as important, I want to spend some time to give you an update about what has happened in the year 2011 and my goals for the new year… 2012.

Here are some of the breakthroughs I had for this year.

A 2 year old company that I set up is currently running at close to $900,000 sales a year.

If you consider the full affiliate sales that we generated the sales figure should be somewhere close to 1.2 million.

(Sorry that I can’t show any screenshot as my top accountant advise that I should not show my sales statistic online since I am not a listed company yet… Haha : )

I have another company that brought in $170,000 profit this year and I expect it to grow or maintain at this level for 2012.

Considering that I am currently only selling information products I am pretty happy with my efforts.

In fact, I could have done a lot better. Because I wasn’t working much for almost the first half of this year.

I took a long break from Feb – June to enjoy life.

In that period, I have gone on holidays to Taiwan, Hong Kong, China (twice), Bali, and Macau.

And over the last few months, I have also travelled to Hong Kong (again to shop) and Vietnam to play golf.

Come to think of it, I have 8 holiday trips this year. (and that’s amazing)

I almost wanted to squeeze in my annual Japan trip this month (Dec), but because I had to film for my movie and also be involved in my customary wedding preparation in Jan, I had to forgo the trip.

Beside hitting my target of 6 holidays a year, there are 2 highlights that I will fondly remember 2011 for (and both are my childhood dreams)

First off…

In Nov I went into the recording studio to record a cover song.

It’s always been a dream of mine to step into the recording studio to record a song.

As you may not know, I have been learning and practicing my singing for the last 2 years and I am really happy to know I have a chance to sing and record a song.

I was the first vocal student to kick off and I was really nervous during the recording.

Even thou I am still not very satisfied with my voice, I am glad to have the chance to do something that I never thought possible when I was young.

The song is being edited now and I hope it is good enough for me to release it and let you enjoy it.

The second biggest accomplishment for this year is… my upcoming movie.

Have you ever dreamed about being a lead actor or an actress in a movie?

Imagine experiencing the adrenaline rush and excitement when all the attention falls on you and everyone depends on you to give a world class performance even if its only for a short moment.

I have always found acting to be fascinating and I always dreamed about starring in an action movie.

And I’m really glad to say that I’ve done it.

You see, I actually funded a short film movie this year and I played the male lead as well.

I engaged one of the top movie directors in Singapore to help me to direct and write the script for my action-comedy movie. (He is the top dog in Singapore and he currently holds the position of having the top 2 highest grossing movies in Singapore)

I also managed to engage one of the best stunt directors in Singapore. (He is an award winning martial arts expert and the stunt director for one of Aaron kwok’s movie)

I am so glad to have the top 2 experts to help me out.

I want to keep this short film movie as a surprise so I won’t be releasing much information about it for now.

But I will keep you posted.

Here’s one of the ‘kidnap’ scene.

And here’s one of the scene where I was supposed to escape with the female lead – my wife.

Right now the production crew are busy with the post production and I hope they can get it up soon.

But seriously, I didn’t expect film making to be so tough.

The same scene can be retaken and repeated for an hour or so. But once it’s on the big screen, it can be just a short scene of only 15 seconds.

I am really looking forward to the release of my new movie.

Now on to the business side of things…

When I heard my landlord is thinking of increasing the rent for my office (which is already high in my standard), I decided to go and buy my own office space.

Last month I paid for the down payment of my new office and we will be moving in next year.

I am so happy that I finally have an office that I can call my own.

Another property collected… now I own a total of 4 properties and my aim is 10.

6 more to go and I will retire indefinitely…

In 2012…

I have been cracking my brain to see how I can double my sales (to 2 Millions) in 2012 without much efforts.

And I am happy to say that I have finally found a solution.

I have tested it out with a friend of mine (my guinea pig) for the last few months and I am satisfied with the results (we hit 6 figures in sales)

I plan to open a new company to house my new advertising platform and I am going to employed a new sales manager to run it.

This new business is going to achieve $1,000,000.00 sales in 12 months with only 1-2 employees.

The hardest part is how to achieve millions with minimum effort and I have finally found the answer to it.

The secret is to find the best people you can work with and share the wealth with them.

Many of my peers have asked me how I managed to achieve so much with such a small team.

And my reply is simple… I train my team to think like me – a boss; that they should treat my business
as they’re business too.

So when the company makes a huge profit… I reward them handsomely to motivate them to work harder.

That’s it!

I will update you on my new business in 12 months time.

Other than that, on a personal level, I would want to go for more holidays (we are planning a 1 month Europe trip) and I would want to purchase my Maserati GT or more properties (Since the prices are going down now).

That’s my plan for the year 2012 =)

I hope you have a goal to strive for the new year… If you haven’t done your goal setting, you still have 2 more days before the start of a new year.

I wish you well in whatever you do and may you achieve great success in your endeavours.

Yes! They are right. Many people have been speculating that they have been seeing me drive a brand new black BMW.

Yes, the rumors are right. I have in fact got myself a brand new BMW 2 months ago…. But these things don’t just fall into my lap.

One thing I’m truly sick of seeing is the amount of individuals looking to get rich fast.

Many of them would state they were told if they bought internet marketing software or a “system” that asked for NO work on their part, they could make a fortune and buy a car like mine.

Anyone that believes they can get wealthy without working first is just wrong!

These myths are giving marketing companies or individuals a bad name.

As any marketer worth anything at all recognizes, internet marketing demands establishing relationships.

That isn’t to say that a few people might use a marketing “system” to set some visits to their websites, however the chances of any long-term loyalty without establishing a relationship with those people is extremely unlikely.

As an internet marketer I’m again not telling you to stop trying to be a guru in your field, I’m simply saying to prioritize what you truly want in life.

The sole way you become better at internet marketing and building your wealth is by talking to individuals, not just by studying e-books and sitting in on webinars!

The worse you are at communicating with people, the more individuals you ought to learn to talk to.

I used to do another type of business and one thing that I learned that I think is applicable almost everyplace is “What you’re missing in skill you need to make up for in numbers”.

If you’re planning on committing four hours today towards expanding your business, don’t let all four hours be spent scrounging thru training materials, spend a little of that time prospecting.

The deal is, the amount of attention you get from you prospects is what will make you money that will buy the cars or whatever it is that you are working towards.

And actually doing it will get you seriously trained at the highest paid facet of your business.

Think about this, if you began spending one-half of the time you use studying and as an alternative put it toward doing, and you began bringing in cash, don’t you believe it would be simpler to develop online content?

If you are able to tell folks online that you’re making revenue versus simply studying everything that is in the latest e-book, don’t you believe that will help your internet presence?

Spend more time doing and working on your business instead of reading and studying.

The more you do, the faster you learn from your mistakes.

The more your read, the slower you grow as it becomes more complicated and confused.

P.S. If getting more visitors to your website is a main headache for you, watch out for my email on Monday, where I will reveal to you how I get thousands of visitors to my website with only 10 minutes per week.

As you know, I used to work as a Fashion Designer and one of the thing that I need to do is to learn how to sew cloth samples.

I still remember when I was in school…

I first stepped into the sewing room for lessons and I was really nervous.

I had never even sewn anything in my life and I certainly had never created a dress from scratch.

I could see that that I was going to have a hard time learning how to sew, unlike those girls who took sewing lessons in secondary school before.

But it was something I wanted to do and it was important that I did it well.

But once I began going through the lessons I knew that I would work hard on improving my skills.

I recognized that I had a disadvantage but I don’t like to be defeated.

So I worked hard and took some extra lesson to fine tune my skills.

And I can gladly say that I passed with flying colors and I came in 2nd in my class in terms of grading.

I would like to share some discoveries I made during that experience about why most people and small businesses never achieve the success they are looking for.

People are forgetting the importance of true focus and dedication.

Recognizing where and what to focus ones attention on may possibly be the single most crucial thing to making or breaking your success.

Being successful isn’t only about busting out with fresh creative ideas.

It’s about following through with the good ideas you’ve already thought up.

At first creating a dress from scratch seemed intriguing… then scary.

So if I would have jumped to another idea I would have never finished my class let alone finished 2nd in grading.

As well, remember that finishing less is better than beginning a bunch of projects that just sit around undone.

For both productivity and self-regard it’s crucial that one learns and experiences the power and serenity that comes along with finishing projects.

After all if I had quit on the dress at the first seam I had to rip out and started another… I would have never finished one at all.

You see people have the habit of procrastinating which lets the list of things not complete begin to get out of control.

As well, starting and stopping projects are big time wasters causing the list of incomplete things to continue to grow rather than finishing one thing successfully.

The final thing I would like to discuss that I learned is the need of a plan of attack.

Yes, a plan of attack.

Taking the time to truly look at what you want to accomplish and get totally transparent about who your are, what you offer, why your doing what your doing and how you plan on arriving there is frequently the most overlooked thing when trying to achieve success at whatever you are doing.

I made the plan of attack of taking extra lessons and working a little harder to achieve the success of creating the dress.

Use this same principle for your online business and I am sure you will see results much faster that you expect.

..

My parents are always busy working earning a living.

My parents had to ask my mother’s mother (grandmother) to take care of us a lot of the time.

We spent a lot of time with her and we are very close to her. There are lessons she taught me that I’d like to share with you.

I’ve lived by these and still live by these principles (even at times when my dream seemed smashed and my hope was very low), and have applied them in every area of my personal and business life.

I can tell you that they WILL work!

You must have a vision for the future that will captivate your entire heart and at the richest level, your spirit and soul.

Unfold your mind to the amazing might of your creative imagination.

You must let yourself have the courage and freedom to even fantasize till you capture a vision, a dream of what your life may one day be.

Meditate about your purpose… and you’ll eventually get the answer… from the “calm quiet voice inside”.

Your vision might come from seeking individuals who have pains and human needs.

So discover a human problem to solve through the amazing power of a vision.

That way you’re assisting people, touching other lives and making a difference in the universe. I partially attempt to do that with my actions

Work at your motivation every day.

Let your dream be at the top of your life.

It will propel, inspire and stimulate you by giving you purpose. Solely YOU have the might to wipe out your dream.

Nothing is inconceivable to the person, whose vision turns to a dream.

Believe abundance and prosperity and not want…. and you will pull it to yourself from the Universe.

Don’t give in to negative thoughts. “I’m too old, have no income, no resources, no contacts”.

Dispute them. Nothing is inconceivable to the person who has the want to win.

Believe in yourself with honesty and humbleness….and not haughtiness.

But remember it’s not being “snooty” when you say things, like “I’m unique, someone special, I Understand I can make a difference in this world.

Calculate at all the options and check them daily. Obstructions and pressures shift, like dust storms.

Never ever runaway from troubles. Say, “I will till….”

Assess your techniques and tactics.

How effectively are you moving down your decided path?

Are you acquiring the results expected and what you want? If not, seek another plan of attack.

Like a fine wine, a great dream generally takes a while to mature and then bloom. When nothing appears to be going on, don’t resign hope.

Hear others; really listen, rather than thinking what you’re going to say next.

Consider how you can best help the next person.

In turn, if you require help with something, don’t be afraid to ask with courtesy.

Individuals like helping other people…and everybody has unique skills and knowledge, that they like sharing.

Ask yourself this critical question: What are the options to NOT dreaming it… and know that only YOU can wipe out your grand vision for life…

I am living my dream thanks to the lessons I learned… are you living yours?

After we left Taiwan, we landed in Hong Kong for the weekend.

I have been to Hong Kong countless times and this time, we decided to go for a short 1 day trip to Macau.

It took us 1 hour to reach Macau by ferry.

When we landed we took the free shuttle bus to Venetian casino.

In the shopping sections.

Great sky.

Here’s Venetian’s lobby. Look at the great painting on the ceiling.

In the casino.

Due to time constrain, didn’t have the time to play.

After Venetian, we went to view the Roman Colosseum.

Next stop is Wynn.

I am very impress with the design of Wynn’s lobby ceiling. Have a look at the video

Opening of the lobby ceiling.

Closing of the lobby ceiling.

After the tour of Wynn’s casino. We have to go as we need to catch the last ferry back to Hong Kong.

The next day, I had an appointment with a Japanese hairstylist in Hong Kong as I wanted to have a new hairstyle for the new Lunar New Year.

Here I am in his dedicate hands.

Here’s my new look. I love it as people say I look much younger now.

Wow! I didn’t realized it took me 5 hours to write and post up all these photos.

I hope you enjoy it and lastly, Gong Huat Fai Choy.

Today is the 3th day of Chinese Lunar New Year. If you don’t know, Lunar New Year is one of the most important Chinese holiday in our calender.

This is the time where families and relatives come together and celebrate the new year.

I had a great time catching up with my relatives friends yesterday and since I have some spare time today. I decided to post my recently 10 days holiday photo.

I left Singapore 2 weeks ago on the 15th of Jan and when me and my girlfriend touched down in Taipei (Taiwan) we didn’t expect it to be so cold.

And the worst part is, my check-in luggage didn’t travel in the same plane as me.

This is the first time that I experience this and I was wondering will this turn out to be the worst holiday I ever have?

I only realized my luggage was lost after all the baggage was collected by the passengers.

Luckily the ground crew was alert and when they realized that my luggage is still back in Singapore, they put it on the next available flight.

I got my luggage back in my hotel later in the night.

With such cold weather, I was glad that I finally managed to get back my stuffs (Especially my jackets and my glove)

When we touch down, we immediately went for dinner and have a great bowl of Oyster noodle.

This is the popular Ah Zhong Mian Xian

After dinner, we went to meet up with some Taiwanese friends. Since it’s a Saturday, we decided to go Karaoke in New CB Party.

After a few hours of singing… guess what… we are hungry again.

So we went to the night market for supper.

The next day, we spent some time out and shopping around Xi Men Ding 西門町.

After some morning shopping, we went for sight seeing.

Here’s the famous ferry bridge in Taipei.

The next day, we wake up early in the morning and go island sight seeing.

This is one of the popular golden river. Story has it that many years ago, the Japanese used to own a gold mine and factory near the sea. And since they have been washing the gold in the factory, the residual flow into the sea and turn the stones into gold.

The factory has since been closed down but the gold stones still remain until today.

Near the golden river is a popular tourist old village. We spent 3 hours there eating all sorts of food and buying all kinds of tidbits.

Does this look familiar?

Saw this interesting saving bank. I like the words on it. It means “It’s So Great To Have Money”.

Here’s another view of the Old Street.

On our way back, we bump into a few Taiwanese Superstars. I think they are filming a variety show.

After visiting the Old Street, we went to Hello Kitty Restaurant for dinner and a great surprise.

Here’s the cute Hello Kitty waitress who serve us.

After dinner, our friend Steven went down on his knees and proposal to Audrey and she say YES!

What a wonderful surprise.

The next day, we went fashion shopping in Wu Fen Pu 五分埔.

This is the main Fashion retail and wholesaler area. We spent the whole afternoon here shopping and buying tons of clothing and accessories.

After shopping, we went straight to Rao He night market 河街觀光夜市 for some nice street food.

This is one of the Must-Try Sugar Strawberry.

The next day, we went to Asian Superstar Jay Chou’s 周杰伦 Mr J Restaurant for lunch.

This restaurant is model after Jay’s first directed movie called “Secret” 不能說的秘密.

And this is the piano that can bring you back or forward in time… as in the movie of course.

This is us trying to mimic Jay’s pose.

After lunch, we went to Bei Tou 北投區 for hot spring. There are so many to choose from that we have a hard time deciding which hot spring to go to.
