What’s Your Avatar?

Is It Worth 15 Years Of Hardwork?

I had one of the best cinematic experience last night, if not… the best.

A couple of my close friends suggested that it was time we did something more relaxing, instead of the usual adrenaline junk.

So we decided to catch a movie… and the majority agreed upon Watching Avatar on 3D.

Well, I’m not a big fan of CG movies, so Watching “Avatar,” sort of reminded me the same I had when I first saw “Star Wars”.

That was another movie I walked into with uncertain expectations.

But everything changed when “Pandora” came onto the scene.

James Cameron’s film has been the subject of relentlessly dubious advance buzz, just as his “Titanic” was.

But once again, he has silenced the doubters by pushing the limits of today’s technology and delivered an extraordinary film.

What really amazed me was that James Cameron had already foreseen this film to be made since 15 years ago.

He had a vision.

A vision of an entirely different world that is so immersive, its native cultures so well realized on screen that any fantasy novelists watching will surely weep from the world-building gauntlet thrown down.

In 1996, James Cameron announced that he would make the film after completing Titanic.

But in December 2006, he explained that the delay in producing the film since the 1990s had to be shelved until the technology necessary to create his project was advanced enough.

And now, he has done it.

This is indeed a dream come true for a man who have fought 15 years to make this movie happen.

I was truly inspired.

And it made me pondered about the things I did to get to where I am today; the struggles I had faced while I was building up my internet business to feed my family.

Although it took me only 2 years of hardwork to accomplish my goals, I would be willing to wait for as long as James Cameron did to achieve them.

What I see in many new online marketers is that they are building castles in the sky, unknowingly.

They want the things that internet marketing can bring them, but they are just not willing to put in the hardwork or have enough patience to see it through.

Trust me, if you want to start achieving great wealth then I suggest that you start putting away with this “something for nothing” mindset.

It just doesn’t work… it’s either you start working on your business now and be lazy later or you can be a bum now and regret later.

So friends, I’ve a question for you.

“What Is It That’s So Important To You That You Would Exchange It With 5 Years Of Your Life?”

For me, it is to see that my parents are no longer worry that they have to work for the rest of their life so that they can put food on the table.

Let me know what’s your comment below.

I’ll talk to you soon.

God Speed.

    Hey Jaz

I didn’t know he waited 15 years for this movie… it is a great movie

I know that true success comes with hard work and patience… unfortunately many people want instant results and as a result don’t want to wait and actually work at it.

There’s so many products that seem to promise that!

The only reason I’ve had success online is because I found something that worked and I kept doing it!

    Yes Jaz,’
    I definitely have a goal!!!
My goal is to break somewhone out of a job that is killing them.

  3. Bill says:

Saw Avatar too! In 3D at an IMAX
It really had an awful lot going on in the movie besides the fantastic (over the top) special effects.

  4. I would love to be in a position to help my sister. She has some health problems. I would then like to help to relieve some of the cancer suffers in my area. I would like to not need to work for anyone.

Mind is that I could set up a college fund for each of my grandchildren. I’m lucky enough to take care of them during the day and that is truly a blessing.

  7. Indeed this is true. If the first outburst of blogging in the Internet was introduced for hobbyists, now, you can enjoy doing it, while earning thousands of dollars.

I start blogging in 2005. I remember I bought my first online product from you. From that product I create my first blog. loseweight blog. I hope I could get my first 1000 dollar 2010.

Ha.. Thanks Jaz lai. You are the man.

Nice one. You are most welcome.

  11. Jaz Lai says:

Well said Jeff. We have to keep doing it to make it work.
Nowaday, too many people give up too easily.

  12. Joe Teh says:

Jaz, I watched it in 3D too, at Vivocity.

Well, to exchange 5 yrs of my life, I would like to be able to achieve something that may take me 10 yrs to achieve (wealth, health, success), and achieve it in 5 years or less.

BTW, the Avatar is truly a film that made me thinking. What if anyone can be surrounded by Gurus, learn their way(like that Sam Worthington did as a trainee)in express mode (like taking shortcuts. And become one of the best.

The best part is that he still respect the rest and gain the respect of the others. A great film!

We all need inspiration but it’s those little things in life that really make the difference. My daughter Sarah could hardly wait to purchase the tickets ($14.99 each) with her own hard earned money and treated the whole family (7 of us) to the movie Avatar in HiDef 3D at the Empire theaters in Halifax, N.S. The movie was a stunning visual feast that left me breathless at times. It also made me extremely proud of my daughter that she has learned the importance of family and sharing in her life.

  14. Winson Lim says:

    Hi Jaz,
I have created the top 10 things to do before I die. I willing to exchange 5 years of my life to have a Christlike family with 4 kids. I was thinking that having a successful business is important but family is more important and is a sacred mission to build a family of love, care and concern.

The top in my list would be building a Christlike family and providing them with food and shelter. Able to provide them the basic needs in life. Although, I’m still not married, I’m treat family as a high regard and importance.

Thanks for the great post Jaz.

    Thank you,

My desire is to ensure that the years ahead, which society calls my retirement years, prove to be the most rewarding, stimulating and enjoyable years of my life. To find peace and joy through encountering other’s concerns and contributing towards their success, is my goal.
